I didn't know there was a state dish but gooey butter cake for Missouri is a good choice. It is a delicious, sweet, buttery, gooey treat that I frequently enjoy.

I have had mince meat pie. My sister-in-law used to make it.
I cant find a soul who even tried them never mind make em. They are from my youth
