I think about this photo a lot.

It’s raw, unfiltered, and full of emotion. If you’re an artist.. and you’ve sacrificed all of your heart for a dream you felt was your true purpose in life, there is a very good chance you know exactly how this feels. And if you don’t, then you probably haven’t explored all the depths hidden inside the creative chambers of your soul.

“ Im so happy cause today I found my friends, they’re in my head. I’m so ugly, that’s okay, cause so are you.”

Although I should be an artist, I never felt like this, but maybe I can imagine because of that impressive photo. Who took it?

In my humble opinion, I think we’re all artists to some degree in life and the magnitude of energetic emotion is dependent on the subjective vulnerability of your heart. If shared art makes you the viewer feel any sort of emotion, I think it has served its purpose as a mirrored perspective to the soul and this photo encapsulates that energy perfectly. The photographer is Ian Tilton. The photo was taken in Seattle, WA on September 22, 1990, at the Motor Sports International Garage. All credit for this 📸 is entirely owed to him.

So you (seem to) agree with the expanded concept of art our great Joseph Beuys promoted. I like that theory!

In addition: The more open minded you are the more you can perceive of this.
