there's an awful lot of stuff i don't really feel motivated for unless it gets noticed. i mean, i won't do something that i think sucks just to get noticed, but if there's some level of enjoyability to the task and it gets positive feedback, this is highly motivating to me.

That makes sense, but if I was really passionate about something, I would do it even if I didn’t get likes or whatever for it.

i've come to the conclusion that i have no true passions. what i have are

1. passing interests

2. fear of failure

3. rage

And an extreme high tolerance for gaslighting

Rage and passion are cousins.

same- you cannot stop passion

i've just come to the conclusion, after 40 years on this ball of dirt, that i'm not really persistently/consistently into any one thing. not anything productive anyway. i like posting on the Internet, but it's largely not useful for anything...

Yes, it’s just a waste of time lol.

i must admit i had high hopes that it might result in some productive collaborations/projects but this far, people are largely sucking at taking me up on such offers.

#[3] i feel much better about my life if i spend that amount of time reading a book, instead.

this day i did something different and watched funnycar racing for 2 hours. LOL

I'm consistently learning, thats about the only constant, other than eating and consuming water.
