Zaps are recorded on nostr as a zap note.
Zap is a special type of lightning payment, where a payment receipt will be created in a form of zap note. This way lightning payments can be associated with content on nostr.
Zaps are just lightning payments that return a note/receipt to Nostr that can be displayed in Nostr apps in various ways.
