For sure meta has fb, marketplace, messenger, whatsapp, insta and threads they can farm for info, whereas the others don't, if this AI thing is all about who gets the biggest data set I think meta wins, because people give them the data directly

Google and MSFT have to scrape it from various sources, and setup partnerships with other services like Reddit

Yes, elon has tesla and X as well, good data sources. Though I don't think that's where AI breakthroughs will be headed. That's how they have so far evolved for sure. But I think the current limitations with AI is the lack of adaptability and i'm not sure if simply more data solves it.

Completely #opinion not based on facts or data of any kind, but I have a feeling the next AI breakthroughs will come for individual developers hacking away on their PCs
