Leg cramps.

Had to spend 8.5 hours shovelling snow yesterday before people get to work and their appointments this morning. 6 hours of it without food.

Cramps. First leg cramp around hour 7. How to solve cramp during the task?... More heavy work to warm the muscle past the cramp. Kept going till finished for another hour.

Got home and immediately took 2x normal magnesium but i found that magnesium alone will not relieve hard work such as farming or forestry cramps a couple of years ago. Solution? When I had a big property to clear with a lot of heavy work a couple of years ago I added Potassium. Big win against cramps.

So last night I also took a second Potassium for the day as soon as I got home.

But just before sleep a couple hours later in bed, I still got another leg cramp coming on. So I immediately got up and took a third Potassium for the day and rubbed it hard for 30 seconds heat generation.

No more cramp and not woken in the night but slept straight through. Magnesium is good. But I have Potassium is the final solution.

If I am working hard I generally take 2 Potassium at start and in the middle of my task hours of heavy work so that the Potassium doesnt overenergize me and keep me awake too late. 2 Pottasium in addition to my regular magnesium has stopped all heavy task and weight lifting cramps (I also lift).

But yesterday I forgot to bring my second Potassium and the task was 14 inches of snow where people had to have access this morning.

So I got a couple of cramps.

But the one in the middle of the work got cured by sheer willpower of dont-let-beat-you-stay-warm more work.

The second cramp cured immediately by a 3rd 99mg Potassium tablet.

Game changer from just taking more and magnesium and still getting woken in middle of night from cramps for the last few years when I added Potassium tablets to my magnesium.

If you love proof of work in action on your own task with a lot of outdoors projects and time pressing tasks on top of weight lifting as I do ... experiment with Potassium if magnesium alone hasnt solved it for you.

I found it is the magic bullet.
