2019, I remember building out Zeus in my apartment in NY. I had purchased a lot of hardware wallets that year. Ledger, Trezor Model T, Coldcard mk 2/3. Always had the thought of how cool it would be to fund lightning channels in Zeus using funds from cold storage. Security and fee advantages were a no brainer. But it wasn’t quite in reach.

Fast forward to today and it’s here. We’ve busted our hump to get here, but not without the help of countless others from those who produce software in stack, to the hardware manufacturers. It’s been incredible to see the growth in the industry over this relatively short period of time.

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Sure feels like it right now.
