Worker bees are worker bees, IMHO. Management has the final say on what goes out the door, no? And, prior to my years in a public sector union, I sold cars, the first couple of years Fords. I do have a hilarious story about assembly lline shenanigans I'll share in the next toot.

Turns out someone on the assembly line put his entire brown bagged lunch inside the driver's door and then affixed the panel. It was rotten, moldy mess. Ford paid for an entire new door assembly and a steam cleaning of the car.
