The budgets of the Five Eyes are controlled by communists (globalists/Davos ghouls/lizard people/demons/whatever you want to call them). As long as that is true, I don’t support any bitcoin soft forks.
Any change you can dream up can wait until the people who oppose private property are out of power.
If things get worse and bitcoin is forced underground, it doesn’t need your scaling solution.

I wonder if they would belie antipathy towards economic node runners, if we all just pivoted to asking them to wait until after the halving.
Not that I would entertain their antics after the halving either, but I have suspicions about the timing and urgency.
They won't ever be out of power if there isn't a viable alternative to their money, and until Bitcoin scales it won't be viable.
