What argument made you change your mind?
And what was your mind originally made up on?
Previously it seemed like a net neutral or net negative but now honestly seems like a net positive, especially through the lens of turning shitcoiners into Bitcoiners.
Ordinals help to bring more people to Bitcoin, teach them to run nodes to participate, etc.
It wasn’t a specific argument necessarily, just a much clearer explanation than I heard anywhere else. Lots of noise elsewhere, but this episode had the signal.
For example, clearly separating Ordinals & Inscriptions and explaining how Ordinals rely on social consensus and Inscriptions rely on Bitcoin’s consensus was helpful.
This was indeed a very helpful episode. Got a deeper understanding of the bitcoin memepool. Still don't like use of bandwith for jpegs.
Episode was good, I wish NVK would push more in either direction (or play devil's advocate).
