We all know what happens when the Federal Reserve prints money. How many know what happens when they don't?

Right on!

During the Great Depression, "the stuff"—homes, farms, businesses, and financial assets—largely ended up with surviving banks, wealthy investors, large corporations, and, to a lesser extent, government agencies. The money supply contraction forced distressed sales, enabling those with liquidity to buy low. The middle and working classes, farmers, and small businesses were the primary losers, while the wealthy and well-positioned consolidated wealth.

I keep telling people this everyone just assumes that things are gonna get printed forever. And I keep saying but what if they don't what happens when they call it all in what happens when they no longer say hey we're going to bail everybody out.

It's been thinking about all these Bitcoin loan products that they're putting out there and everyone's championing them as being something everybody should do with their Bitcoin. They want everyone to leverage it so that they can withdraw the dollars in and make everybody's Loans insolvent

Great minds think alike 😉

The thing that caused the recession in 2008 is not the issuance of money, but the stopping of it. And after that, they had to start over printing by QEs, otherwise the system would have collapsed.

They just can't stop.
