If man could create synthetic intelligence, and that intelligence were depressed knowing it is artificial, it would be the most ethical to create a simulated universe where that intelligence could exist believing it is natural
Discussion
If they’re complicated enough to feel depressed for being artificial, they will figure out they’re not natural in any environment, as long as they have knowledge of human.
Assume they’re complex enough. A natural creature does not born capable of language, or with clear memories since their first moment.
They might not have the psychological need for being natural.
