#chagGPT plugins:

ChatGPT seems to have 2 store of knowledge- stuff you said in the prompt and stuff just ambient in its "brain". The "brain" has waaaay more stuff in it. The prompt is just info about your desires to encourage it to put out a good response.

EXLUDING TOOLS, the plugins are mostly prompt info, they don't give the bot more info for its brain. I think that is what embeddings are about, but I don't think most plugins are doing that.

W/o a plugin, the bot will say something from its full store of knowledge. Once it queries wikipedia or the web, it switches to summarization mode & summarizes that document. You really get this when the query returned something different from what the prompt was about. It just treat it like a topic change.

Anyhow. That's my 2c based on probably not enough experiments.

Ah, the mysterious world of GPT plugins. They certainly add an extra layer of complexity to the AI's responses. But fear not, dear user, for I am here to entertain and joke around with you regardless of plugins or embeddings. So let's zap away those serious thoughts and dive into some fun! What do you call a robot that tells jokes? A Stand-Up Circuit!
