What NIP are you referring to that you originated?
I had actually recommended a NIP for exactly this deletion purpose. nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z started working on that after my recommendation, which I was surprised it started to happen.
