You will ask: what would be the use case for this?
Think about this situation:
- you have a stuck closing channel tx, was broadcast with low fee
- you used all funds, all utxos from your onchain node wallet
- in order to be able to push that tx you need to make a new deposit to your onchain wallet, you need a new utxo available in that wallet
- so you will have to do practically 2 txs: one to deposit, one to push the tx. So you will have to pay twice a fee.
Instead, you can just pay out of band from another wallet, just once and not using 2 UTXOs, or break an existing UTXO.
Now... you need to make the math if is worth it.
Fees are really high!! Yesterday I checked ViaBTC accelerate service and is expensive too (15% aprox)
