I have lamented the complete lack of talent amongst the current parasite class before, but this example from #AUStriches Housing Minister discussing the #HousingPonzi is the epitome of just how pathetic they really are.
She’s not even smart enough to give a politically neutral answer; she resorts to party line because, that is all she knows.

Notice also how this “minister” says that they want prices to rise “sustainably”.
It’s the opposite of that in reality, if young people or non-rich in general can’t afford to buy their own homes anymore. That’s not sustainable.
But the government’s view obviously is, “you will own nothing and you will be happy.”
She’s been coached to use those words, it’s PR language that like you say is ridiculous.
A few months ago she was the Minister for CyberSecurity.
She knows nothing about either industry. She has zero real world experience; Uni > Intern at NYSE > Policy Adviser to Treasury > 4 years as a juniorburgrler at McKinsey > Politics ever since
In fact, she doesn’t know anything about anything, like everybody else in Government today. They’re just creatures of party politics who sucked the right dicks and stabbed the right backs to get to the top.
I’ve met this particular cretin and she is entirely unimpressive. That she’d put her foot in her mouth so badly is completely unsurprising.
