Regular people buy into big brands and their marketing pretty easily in general.

americans are forced to buy into big brands because it’s what’s easier accessible. if you’re working all day and need to get groceries, you’re not going to the farmers market, you go to what’s easy.
bitcoin shouldn’t be marketed and it’s okay if working class americans don’t trust it yet. they don’t have the privilege and time to sit around all day listening to podcasts or read books about bitcoin. they’re busy creating proof of work.
it’s an interesting position indeed.
do you fight bad marketing with good marketing or do you let the silence, as in lack of marketing, speak for itself 🤔
americans aren’t dumb. they always see beyond the marketing even if it seems like we fall for it.
we are forced and born into it.
i truly hope so, doesn’t stand for everybody unfortunately.
but i do hope that the heightened levels of skepticism help the americans atleast take the marketing more with a grain of salt.
it’s is kind of complicated here in the states, it’s hard to understand why working class americans don’t trust bitcoin when you’re not here. especially in the midwest where the american dream is most prominently pioneered as the one thing to work for.
where as if i was not from the us, i wouldn’t understand and see the generalized view of americans too.
