“Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action”. Many of the positives in my life have been a result of strong critical thinking and the negatives have been a result of lazily taking things at face value that somehow become underlying belief.

I forgot this was one of my New Year’s resolutions. Some common patterns I have been seeing is 1. Being so certain 2. Saying something is “obvious” or “simple” when it’s not 3. Not providing any reasoning, just stating as fact
