I’ve used both extensively, and if Start9 added something like Tailscale it would be an easy recommendation.

Doing everything through tor just plain sucks. Thusly, Umbrel wins.

I will post a note on this topic this weekend. I think I am finally happy with the setup.

Note: I have no desire to run a routing node. Which makes things much easier, in terms of maintenance.
