the other thing is that they wouldn't have this problem if they used a strong authentication system
IMO if your security is such that you block people by IP address ranges it's an easy target and sooner or later everyone who uses it is going to get doxxed
If they use strong authentication then it becomes a walled garden. That's where they're headed anyways.
