Ok my carnivore story :

This week marks one year since I went completely carnivore. I follow something called the Lion’s Diet, which means I only eat red meat, lamb, butter, beef tallow, water, and electrolytes. That’s it. I eat whenever I’m hungry, and it’s absolutely delicious. It took me some time to find the best local beef because I wanted to support ranchers who care for their cattle properly. I eventually found some really high-quality meat, and I couldn’t be happier.

Before this, I was already quite carnivore since childhood—my nickname was Carnitas. But I still included chicken, pork, and occasionally indulged in quattro formaggi pizza. I always had meals with greens—lettuce, kale, spinach, or green beans—and added fruit. What I didn’t realize was that these were causing inflammation and gut issues.

I decided to go fully carnivore after being inspired by other Bitcoiners and @mikhailapeterson who spoke about how the lion’s Diet transformed her health, especially with autoimmune diseases. While I don’t have an autoimmune condition, I thought, “If it’s helping her, why wouldn’t it help me?” I’m so glad I made the change. My sleep has improved, my gums stopped bleeding long ago, I no longer experience inflammation, and I maintain my weight at around 109 pounds (49 kilos). Honestly, I think I look pretty good for being 60.

This coming year, I plan to incorporate more exercise into my routine to build muscle. Last year, I was busy—that’s not an excuse—but now I’m making room for it. For Christmas Day, I’ve got a wagyu picanha ready to enjoy—it’s so delicious! #carnivorediet

I talk about it in two carnivore podcasts with nostr:npub1dd8vnrczuer7q9zqk3emhkf207hzrcqmd2nvvh3jmw22xcyjyuhqdfuvr6
