While I understand what you mean I don’t 100 percent agree. To me bitcoin is the money therefore any investment has to be able to outperform bitcoin, currently those are the companies adopting some form of bitcoin strategy. Will they all succeed? No. Will some outperform? Yes. That is where the risk comes in investing. Shitcoins do nothing useful whereas a company that provides products or services that real people use is not the same thing. If I had a company I would also use it as a vehicle to stack sats while providing real business. I’m not saying all companies with a bitcoin strategy are good either they could still be shit.

For example if your wine business sold equity your company would not automatically turn into a shitcoin.

I agree with what you said.

Would it change your tenor if I said Bitcoin stocks instead of Bitcoin companies?

You mean ETFs? I guess my point is it depends on the company of which stock you own. Stock is just shares in a company.

So stocks aren't a shitcoin even in the fun meaning of the word?

Shitcoins have no use case

Stocks depend on the company it’s just ownership in a company

If it is a useless company stock then I would understand calling it a shitcoin

You make great points!

Awe shucks

Thanks
