I get using twitter to gain outreach and spread a change in culture. Its where the people are.
However, and I've argued this countless times, if people just refuse to engage at all with freedom tech in general, then they risk someone else being able to channel or direct any true social change/disent.
Nostr is 90% of my social media use. Not because of the outreach.
But because i believe in the values it represents.
I see what you mean, and I think it is possible these people could be convinced to cross post to other platforms. (Especially something like nostr, which could be a form of back up). But I suppose they rely on donations, the numbers aren't currently here (never mind an interested audience). They'd probably get like 10 likes or something. I suppose it would take something v drastic, like twitter getting banned or them getting banned off twitter. The game they're playing is slightly different perhaps to me or you, I mean I'm just here to hang out, no grander project or anything 🤔
Yeah me too, but for those guys its a balancing act i dont envy.

Like you say, there isn't the audience here in numbers.
But if they don't at least promote it there never will.

I get the impression that twitter is good enough and has the audience, sonis for for purpose in that game or something.
I also think that there would perhaps be some resistance to the dominant libertarian views here. Which is not insurmountable if nostr did manage one day to build a wider audience
