The masks are pseudo-scientific voodoo, period.

idc too many sick people around me in the city i can’t get sick again :/

Only you know what's best at the end of the day Roya , no matter what anyone says.

"idc" - but wants to vote, etc...

N95 filters at least .3 microns. Covid on its own is .125 microns. But covid doesnt generally float on its own. Its bonded to stuff like respiratory droplets (~50 microns) whose larger size is filterable.

As a barrier, N95 masks and higher can reduce, if not outright block. Viral load is a key element in how sick one gets and how body reacts to build defenses.

General surgical masks and cloth masks on the other hand only act as direct splash guards and serve the same purpose as a diaper, but made for the face. KN95 masks or any that fold are not suitable for prevention.

you suffer from intellectual sodomy...

Sounds like you exist on the left side of the bell curve. Bless your heart.

looks like you are a whore for scientistic materialism and reductionist, distended, rationalism...

how is it working out ?

So far so good!

that just indicates you are low-quality - a priori

lemme guess - btc1 ?

If there is any humidity in the air at all , covid is aerosolized, and it's going through the mask.

The oppositte. Dryer environments reduce humidity. Winter time is lower humidity. Less humidity makes virus more aerosolized. The more wet the air, the less viruses can easily spread. Use humidifiers indoors and HEPA filters to aid in mitigation.

Sure , the air is dry in winter , granted that it doesn't rain (no chance of that here ) ,but that is outside, most people spend most of their time in an inside environment.

Moisture inside could come from people , cooking , hanging your coat up to dry on the rack , inadequate ventilation.

When there is moisture in the air, it has a medium to float around in.

You said yourself that it binds itself to water droplets , it can ride around on the current .

I don't expect anyone to watch lengthy videos against their will , but I've never seen a hairpin turn quite like the "concensus" on the effectiveness of masks, it is quite stunning .

This video emphasizes my earlier statements regarding N95 vs face diapers.

They never pushed proper N95s or better on the public because there was a supply shortage. They needed to ensure they could protect themselves, and then limit access to only those in medical and first responder (ambulatory, fire, police) community.

Governments and agencies acted in their own best interests, not that of their constituents, and policies were political and control based. Ignore what they say and do what you feel appropriate for personal protection.

I'll concede that n95's are more effective than the diapers with the gaping holes vs properly fitted and all the rest, for the sake of civility, cause any talk of covid bullshit makes me blow my lid.

The point is moisture drops are big, and get stuck in an N95 mask.

In dryer air, stuff can float around easier and doesn’t get stuck in the big water drops.

N95 masks are not the same as KN95, or other “masks”like surgical or cloth etc.

Supply chains for N95 support the construction industry mainly, not the world. Mask mandates are a farce, but that doesn’t mean N95 masks don’t work.

Nuance is important.

it may well be that more, like 10% more are caught in n95s but get any finer and you can't get air through them either

much better to investigate why you are vulnerable to the virus and your immune system is so compromised already

and i say this as someone who came down with it, but a nasty dry air/nichrome wire heating system on a bus from bratislava to novi sad, and then had a shower but didn't get properly dry, caught a chill, and then it started... really, these two things were massive assaults on my lungs and my metabolism and no surprise that at that point my immune system failed to keep ahead of it

i was down for 3 days and it was intense, it wasn't so strange to me because it was a lot like asthma with a painful cough, and it turned out i could just slow my breathing and i was ok, fell asleep, la ti da

most normies don't know how to heal a cold or flu, that's why this thing was such a big assault on them

Glad to see someone with a scientific, factual take on masks.

Give him a zap then , v4v .
