I used to allow toxic people into my life. Energy vampires who ridiculed & belittled me.

Life didn't get better until I cut them off completely.

Respect yourself and be assertive. Don't allow these types to drag you down.

I tried to make sure my daughter understood this at a much younger age than I finally figured it out. So far, so good. She's very discerning about the kind of company she keeps.
