Loved this game as a child. It taught me a lot about aiming.

It's still fun to play, which just goes to show you that it's not about the graphics, it's about the gameplay. Just like with movies -- it's not about CGI, it's about story. Too many companies seem to have forgotten this.

So true, newer games are pretty soulless. That's why I love Dwarf Fortress, the stories it creates out of pure chaos is magical

Dwarf Fortress is one of the most impressive games I've ever seen in terms of its ability to randomly generate incredibly complex worlds.

I always watched it at a distance but the Steam version finally made me try it, and I wish I did much earlier
