Humanoid robots powered by AI will fundamentally change the economics of small scale farming

Stack sats now so you can afford a squadron of robots to help you build fences, tend animals and harvest gardens

The future is going to be very different

The fundamentally

Man do I not want that future. I love the grind too much. I guess I'll just create the non-humanoid food producer niche.

"Good food, still grown with the loving human touch "

The market will find you. Breeding for easy reliable robot harvest is already one of the reasons why your backyard heirloom beats the grocery store every time for quality. More robots will only mean more of that kind of stupid.

I already refuse to eat fresh tomatoes that didn't come from my backyard. Our sauce beats the store every time too but the store stuff is at least edible.

"edible" is a pretty low bar... And will only get lower in fiat land

I view robots as a tool that empowers more humans to grow an abundant backyard garden filled with heirloom varieties grown in rich, healthy soil with zero chemicals. Ironically, I think robots will allow people to become more human again. TBD

Interesting thought experiment to be sure. Current chemical farmers also use the argument that herbicides are just a tool though as well. Everyone has to draw their own line wherever they think it's best for their operation and their market.

Difference is that robots can be used to enhance soil and food quality

Herbicides are literally poison lol

Everything begins with healthy, natural soil

Agreed - everyone has to draw their own line, just depends what values and principles are used to guide where the lines are drawn

Appreciate the dialogue 🤙🏽

Loving human touch isn’t going away on our farm. Robots will allow us humans to do more of what we Love by taking care of chores like cleaning coops, trimming brush, repairing fences and maintaining forest trails
