what should statistical facts about race and crime be tied to other than race ? im curious ....

Culture.
I have seen these stats. I think many factors contributed to this, from the economy to culture.
Not to mention, for a long period of time, they were disenfranchised in society and terrorized by every single institution. No one disagrees with that. Those things shaped their culture and their societies around them.
Does it justify the crime someone is doing today? Absolutely not. But blaming everything on race is just not right.
Personally, I can't hate or judge a person just based on how they look.
Your point might be fair, but it's also irrelevant. The reason the criminals were even on the street and could act with such reckless disregard was because of their race.
