It sure was. Our coffee machine is currently broken so I am back to good ol' (over 30 years old!) french press.

I use one of thoseblue enamel camping perkolators. Sometimes the power goes out in the winter and I can still have coffee using the woodstove. Most times I use it on the stive top though lol

Percolators are awesome. Make nice espressos.
