The #Linux 6.6 KVM for RISC-V now supports various processor ISA extensions for guests and includes fixes for RISC-V, ARM, Intel, and AMD systems. It also introduces new features such as support for AMD SEV-ES DebugSwap and a framework for caching CPU feature flags in KVM x86. Additionally, PV crypto enablement is added for KVM on s390 hardware.

Does this mean cross architecture virtualization is more stable?

I can’t comment to that, I usually run linux guest on linux host or bsd host and linux guest on x64
