That is a good point. America doesn't have pubs. Lots of bars and I do love a good sports bar, but they are not pubs.

Pubs came in all shapes and sizes and its more about the community that frequent them than any other aspect.

I've been in stunningly beautiful pubs that have no atmosphere, whereas my local shithole is always full of my friends. I can have a chat and a catchup with them, either about quantum's threat to encryption or their ex wives or the football game they are watching 😂
