That doesn't mean AI is useless, though.

That will depend on what we consider AI to be, honestly.
I read time ago that Artificial Intelligence was just "an algorithm with marketing".
Nowadays it seems AI is referring exclusively to the LLM family of content generators.
Those are just dreams generators that you can not trust to be even coherent.
I don't know what will "the AI word" refer to in 3 or 5 years time.
