Lots of action but unfortunately no success so far.. the elk out here are in rut which will help this week 🤞

That's good to hear. Saw a herd of elk on Saturday. It's a limited entry draw up here though and I don't have a tag. I've seen a few doe, but no bucks.

it's been a while since I've been up in a tree, watching the chickadees move thru, waiting for that big buck. nothing like that time alone in the woods. and being off the ground with a different perspective changes everything. good stuff.

I haven't hunted anything bigger than central #NewYork #whitetail but have hunted & trapped everything smaller in the woods. #cny
