Thanks to the generosity of the owner of [Vember Audio](https://vemberaudio.se/eng/), the [Surge XT](https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/) audio synthesizer has been open sourced, and is availabe from [their GitHib webpage.](https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/releases-xt/releases/latest)

Surge XT featured many synthesis techniques:

- Great selection of filters

- Flexible modulation engine

- Smorgasbord of effects

- Modern features like

- MPE

- Microtuning (with MTS-ESP support!)

- Comprehensive Open Sound Control (OSC) support
