Japan is a cool place. I love that they love American culture, but want to preserve their own. I'm not a Japanophile, would never consider living there, but Halloween might be the most relatable time to visit. Scarcely any places in the world are safe for Americans anymore, and Japan might be safer. This fall #Nostrasia is being held in Japan at the end of October. It's a good opportunity to go with people you know. Also wise to learn basic etiquette and that penalties for breaking the law are more severe than you expect.

Japan should be 1st on all the lists of places to visit. Clean, beautiful, secure, with actual decent humans, awesome food, lots of culture ...
