Would nostr benefit from nostr-exclusive content?

I think a lot about the incentives for traditional creators and nostr doesn’t yet have them. So I suspect we need more homegrown creators/content rather than attempting to attract existing creators with large audiences elsewhere.

zaps could be meaningful to creators someday, but they’re not enough yet at today’s scale

Yes, nostr exclusive content would be beneficial for growth and increasing the utility of the nostr network.

If I could do everything on Youtube and Twitter that I can do here... the motivation for most people would be to just continuing to use BigTech.

I have other motivations, I as appreciate censorship resistance and being more in control. Most people just don't take that seriously right now. So having content that is on nostr first (it can be copied anywhere later) and things you can do that are better to do on nostr is the way forward.
