Was mistaken for a man when in uniform on first deployment. Told me to lose my fat on top. Aide told him & then General punched me on the arm only AFTER I told him of my achievements ( all excelled others ) . Knew then my career would never be fair. But never did I have the thought I wouldn’t achieve anything I wanted.
Until my battle buddies “taught me a lesson.” There are so many ways to kill something. Shattering their soul because you’re a jealous POS is but one.
Still forgave them. Causes humans always human. This is not to say everyone should or must forgive their predators. This didn’t come with forgetting them either. But I found internal peace ☮️
