Getting hit in the ear is the absolute worst. Not gonna lie, I think the risk/reward isn’t worth it to take the ear guards off. The ears are to sensitive and painful if they get hit and I don’t find that my hearing is drastically better with the guards off vs on. Just my opinion tho 🤷‍♂️

Bauer 4500 is just the best without them.

But that pain at the hospital was some of the worst I ever felt. Risk/reward. Lesson learned. After 20 years 😂

Good friend had to have $30,000 of dental work done after a nasty injury ($10K out of pocket).

Years ago but we all saw it & nobody learned. But him. Full cage added by him only. 😂

I feel like it’s the financial side of things that really hammers home the lesson. Insurance covered the cost to fix my teeth so I didn’t even consider going back to a cage
