Replying to Avatar Flow

So when I logged in today, I have more followers, and I’m following about half the people I was following yesterday, I’m connected to 12 relays instead of 5 and my WoT relays are not on the list anymore.

I assume my account was compromised, I have both Damus and Primal installed.

Any ideas how this might have happened to avoid in the future?

What now, trash this private key and start again fresh I suppose?

It might have picked up an old version of your metadata from a relay, there are some bugs certainly is you use different clients. I doubt your account is compromised but its possible of course.

Techjunkie is probably right! Using the same nsec in multiple clients can frequently mess with your relay configuration and then your follow lists will change accordingly
