I guess for most people, #1 thing to keep them away is the unconvenience.
Most people dont have a laptop/desktop. And they think bitcoin is something that just sits on binance. They don't understand adresses. Nodes. Dangers of KYC.
it's sad, but when people get rekt they learn. Or actually, they just blame others. Few learn. Because human energy is valuable and scare, and they don't want to "waste" energy learning something like this.
Most people want easy click. But right now its calculated and smart click. To use bisq you need to understand many things, you need to find bisq by searching for non KYC options, and so on.
TLDR; NOT UNDERSTANDING BITCOIN
