Well the bee cut out was a bust. Turned out to be a species of bumble bees, which are harmless and best left alone till winter and the entrance can be sealed up.
Off home now, going to have a lazy afternoon after a fun week 🤣🤣

Always got verification that the bees are honeybees by pictures or videos first. We have driven miles when we were younger and less experienced, only to find yellow-jackets or some other species. People will run you ragged if you don’t help them help you first.
I usually do, but the guys that reported it are pretty knowledgeable on bees.
But definitely an exercise in "trust but verify"🤣🤣
