Been wondering about some of the legal implications of running a public relay. I would imagine that the authorities would treat relays similar to e-mail servers. All depends on jurisdiction of course.

Keywords: Liability for “illegal” content posted via your relay, take down notices, warrants for connection logs and user identities (npubs), etc.

Any nostriches working for email service providers or ISPs? Would be curious to hear your thoughts and industry experience.
