Yeah. Yeltsin wasn't evil he was perfect for the people wanting to get Russian wealth. The man in his administration responsible for the genocidal shock therapy which they called the economic model the west advised them to implement was however what could be considered evil. But to his defense I think the west forced the hand of him by not forgiving debt and demanding this policy to assist them economically.
