For the curious, there was a "bug" in gossip where it would hold back a post for 10 seconds before posting it and provide an "Undo Send" button.... but the UI would not actually draw the post or the button until about 8 seconds in, giving you only 2 seconds to react.

The bug was a race condition which my tests have now established has been fixed.

Thank you for your patience in this matter. We know there are other airlines you can fly and we appreciate you flying with nostr airways.

I was also making sure you could send another message while one was waiting in the hopper, that the UI wasn't holding you back somehow.

BTW, that's a great feature! Maybe even 60 seconds could be good, it's in that time that I realize I've miss-typed something or accidently used the wrong word.

I'm getting feedback in both directions on that point. nostr:npub10000003zmk89narqpczy4ff6rnuht2wu05na7kpnh3mak7z2tqzsv8vwqk wants 3 seconds. I want more than 10 seconds (like you). This is exactly why it is a setting: Setting> Posting> Undo Send (seconds).

Great, thanks!

The setting is useful, thank you.

My preference is only related to the fact that currently the just sent note is hidden, and I cannot post another note in the meantime.

Probably a good general solution could be allowing undo in place for 3 seconds (enought to spot basic errors) showing the note, then show again the compose area and let the user to undo until X seconds accessing "My notes", where he can find a button for every "sending" note.

In the sidebar we can show if there are email being sent, clicking the component would bring to "My notes".

My testing today indicates I can post another note immediately. I have notes posted within 6 seconds of each other while the delay was set to 10 seconds. I'm not sure why you aren't able to but it certainly is not supposed to run that way.

I probably need to update Unstable, I will try later.
