This is terrible data to store on chain, Bitcoin is money, not cloud storage

We already have a mechanism for data like this, it's called torrents and they are much more decentralized than Bitcoin, and free to boot

Exactly. Keep it simple for money/value transfer/transactions. Use ethereum for that other crap.
