Hi nostr, its the evening again, and I just got done cutting the last (for now) batch of soap, which is the lavender. All 3 batches should be cured before christmas. I spent the rest of the day mostly catching up on all the things, and tomorrow our bnb guests will check out so I'll have to clean over there.

The rabbits, chickens, and peafowl are all doing well, except I may have to get rid of the rooster. He's been showing some aggression toward me, so he may have to go in the cook pot.

We went on our evening Gator ride today, which I always enjoy, and so does Daisy.

Well thats all my ramblings for today. I hope yall are having a good weekend nostr friends. Stay positive, stay healthy, and stay true to yourselves. #grownostr #homesteading #farmlife #countrylife

Such beautiful pictures!

also, I'm so glad to see your rabbit tractor. We got ours with the rabbits (someone was selling her full set up). It's great but very heavy! Looks like yours is mostly pvc and chicken wire? Is it a metal roof?

Yes a metal roof on the tractors. We also have a couple of stationary enclosures for them, so we can move/separate as needed. But we do like the pvc.

Don't you need the rooster for the hens? Is he another recruit to Daisy's bad animal club? 🤔

Well i got him as a protector, and so far we havent had any predator pressure. And yes, I think he's been hanging around Daisy and picking up bad behavior. I cant let him bully me.

Just WOW. Whereabouts is this lovely property? 💜🐝

Texas😊

Didn’t go there when I was in the states—regret it!

Its a big place.
