Well, now what? I've been looking for my mama duck all day. I just found her about 1/2 hour ago, on another nest with about a dozen eggs. Seems like now that she figured out how to reproduce, at 4 years old, she's all about it. Her babies are just seven weeks old.
This time she is in the yard, under the hosta. She isn't in the coop where I can keep predators from her. In fact, she has never slept outside the coop before.
So, this is brooding day 1. Can I move her and the eggs to the coop successfully?
