Today I heard the most dumb idea ever: putting your BTC wallet address into a trust.

LOL I know people are retarded, but that much.

Guys, don't do such stupid things.

This is like screaming out loud: "hey, here are my BTC!"

A trust will NOT protect the ownership of your BTC in any way!

The keeping your wallet seed secret, private, in your custody is the only thing that protect your ownership over those BTC.

NOBODY can take your BTC if they do not know your seed.

And also don't make public your BTC addresses. NOBODY should know about them!

Putting a wallet address in a trust, means you do not use them as money...

That mean you are going back to use fiat (or shitcoins).

It doesn't make any sense.

We are here to destroy fiat, not going back to using it.

How you destroy fiat?

By NOT using at all, use only BTC as money and slowly fiat will just die.

Once the fiat dies, also the govs will die, because you take their heart out...

As I say, Bitcoin is a solution to a problem many don't think/know they have. This is the clear example, I thoght the same as you when I read that comment in the chat, but that is where we are right now.

IMO people won't get it becaus is a long way and requires a re-writing of deeply embedded ideas, like the "gov is here to help you", "gov will defend you". I think Ideas as basic as such are hard to change for the same reason is hard to change the fundations of a 20-story bulding already built.
