I have the lightning address setup as an email address just for these reasons 🙂
Bravo. That’s a very good idea.
You can get your own domain and set up catchall email.
You can use the open source tool simplelogin (which is self hostable) and have some control over the catchall function (block someaddressess, should you get spammed).
Then you can also setup you nip05 and lightning on that domain.
