So my wife's family likes iphones, and so when they have a big 'group text' with her and her many siblings either she (android) or her brother (iphone) don't get it.
It's apparently always either or, and apparently works fine for whichever it works for and the other gets nothing. Next time it may be the opposite, he gets them and she doesn't.
Apparently this is a 'thing' and apple does stuff intentionally to make interoperability problems(?).
So my question is, is this really a thing? And is there any way to work around it from my end with the android phone? I hate the thought of rewarding apple for making a problem, but I want my wife to be able to communicate with her people, so if I HAVE to get her an iphone, I will...
If anyone has any insight to the problem itself (which I still don't completely understand) or any potential solutions I'd sure appreciate hearing about it! Thanks!
